Los Amores

This project brings a former eighteenth-century shepherd’s shelter back from ruin. Hidden on an estate in Toledo, it had been worn down by time.

Our intervention gives it new life as a weekend retreat, where past and present meet naturally. We used traditional, natural materials, including lime mortars that allow the original stone walls to breathe. Built-in furniture follows and emerges from the architecture itself.

Above it all, the reconstructed pine roof provides a warm, essential gesture, restoring the space’s original soul.
