Casa Margarita

An early twentieth-century house in a historic residential enclave, once in ruins, becomes the shell for a spacious, vibrant home.

The project rethinks how the house is used to create a generous, fluid double-height space. An elevated walkway connects the upstairs bedrooms and strengthens the visual continuity between levels.

We restored the façades to reveal the original brickwork. Drawing on the building’s understated Neo-Mudéjar character, we developed an early twentieth-century aesthetic through green-lacquered metalwork, tiles and terracotta screens that reinterpret its original identity.
