La Bruja

This weekend home had stood empty for years before a young, active family with a busy social life bought it. Little had changed since it was built in the 1970s, and its layout no longer suited its new owners.

We therefore reworked the plan around a generous space for gathering, connected to the garden and pool. We also created spacious bedrooms for the children and a separate yet connected study for the client, who is a writer.

With the new layout in place, we chose a simple design with plenty of character, adding touches of colour to the metalwork. We also brought back the lost wood-burning fireplace and designed a continuous shelf that runs through and connects the shared spaces. The result is a fresh home designed to be enjoyed.
